DESCRIPTION:
Volz Incorporated is seeking a Civil Designer for a full-time position in our St. Louis, MO office. The ideal candidate is people-oriented, self-directed, and an effective communicator. This role involves design, drafting, occasional fieldwork, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design civil engineering solutions
- Assist senior engineers and project managers
- Prepare design and construction documents: layout, grading, drainage design
- Perform stormwater management calculations and modeling
- Coordinate project details with clients
- Perform other duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Civil Designer experience
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
